Fusewelder Torch

Efficient and Economical Application

Wall Colmonoy’s Fusewelder Torch models – Mark 6, 7, 8, & 9 – are specifically designed for oxy-acetylene application of surfacing alloy powders. Unlike traditional two-step spray & fuse methods, the Fusewelder Torch allows powder to be sprayed and fused to the base material in one seamless operation. This efficiency reduces setup time, minimizes handling, and ensures a true metallurgical bond for reliable coating performance.

The Fusewelder Torch, in use for over 50 years, combines durability, operator control, and the versatility to apply hardfacing coatings on a wide range of part geometries. For maintenance shops and production environments alike, the Fusewelder Torch delivers repeatable performance and proven results.

Application Methods

Four models are available to accommodate work on very small/thin or fine edged parts (Mark 6) to large, heavy parts (Mark 9) and anything in between (Mark 7 & Mark 8). The fused deposit creates a dense, low-porosity coating to protect parts subject to heavy wear, erosion, corrosion, galling, or impact. Compatible with specially designed Colmonoy® powders, the Fusewelder Torch System adapts to diverse applications in nearly any industry including glass container, mining, agriculture, oil & gas, and power generation.
